| Updates for October! |

It's Time for the Dojo Halloween Festival! If you've attended before, you know about the auction - if not...get ready to have some fun! After each class we'll be passing out "dojo bucks". Collect as many as you can, and bring them with you to the Halloween Festival. You'll get to use those dojo bucks to bid on and win lots of really neat gifts! The auction is shaping up to be our best yet, and the Halloween store is awesome. This is going to be a great way to spend your hard-earned dojo bucks! Please bring friends and family members as you desire, there is no entrance fee! We just ask that you bring a dish to share for our community supper and a baked good for the cake walks. There will also be sack races, a couple of Pinatas, a costume contest, Sensei Billey's Awesome Haunted House and lots of other fun things. The Pumpkin Carving Contest begs you to bring your best pumpkin art and put it on display. You could even win a blue ribbon! We also really need YOUR help! For one thing, if you can donate $10.00 toward the tent rental for the Haunted House ($230.00 this year) it would be great to help us offset that cost for the dojo. We also desperately need some help moving furniture, etc. in the house on the Friday before, decorating and general setting up the day of the Festival. Also, unless you have small children, please stick around and help clean up. This is our dojo community; we do all the work ourselves and don't pay for oursourcing, so it helps if a lot of folks pitch in! Monthly Classes If you are behind in your tuition, please catch up now or make arrangements with Sensei Toni. We are always VERY understanding, but we just need to know whats going on so we can plan. Invoices will soon be out for breaking materials and new belts, please tidy that up as quickly as you can after you get them: it really helps fund other projects for classes. Thank you everyone: you are really awesome and I feel SO priviliged and honored to come to classes and instruct such dedicated students. Have a great October! Thank you! Sensei Toni |

It's time once again for that most exciting time of the year: that's-right-you-got-it, the Dojo Halloween Festival! This time-honored annual tradition is family-oriented and designed for everyone to have a great time. It will be held on Saturday, October 24th, at Chris Barckhoff's house, beginning at 6:00. The theme is Villians or Heroes from Your Childhood (nothing gross or really scary, please, we have little ones attending, Dan.)
